This policy explains what data iwts.link collects when you create a direct WhatsApp link and track its visit analytics, and how we use and protect it. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • The phone number(s) you submit to create a single link or a multi-number link, together with their optional labels and pre-filled messages.
  • Visit data when others open your link: approximate country, device type, operating system, browser, referrer, IP address, timestamp, and a campaign name if you add one to the link (e.g. ?c=name). For a multi-number link we record which number served the visit.
  • Optional email: if you provide it, we use it only to send you management links and to let you recover your links later.
  • Optional link code: if you enable it, we store it hashed — never as plain text.
  • Cookies to remember your own links, interface language, appearance (light/dark), and a form-protection (CSRF) token. We also store your list of links and groups locally in this browser.
  • The “send without saving” page runs entirely in your browser — it does not send the number or message to our servers and stores nothing.

How we use the data

  • To generate your direct or multi-number WhatsApp link and QR code.
  • To route each visitor to the right number (your chat, the one they pick, or one in turn).
  • To show you visit analytics on the statistics page.
  • To protect the service from abuse (rate limiting of creation, requests and forms).

Data sharing

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. When a link is opened, the visitor is redirected to WhatsApp (operated by Meta), governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We may use a third-party service to approximate the country from an IP address.

Retention & deletion

Link and analytics data is kept while the link is active. You can disable or permanently delete a link at any time from the my links page or its management panel. Note: a custom link stays reserved after deletion so it cannot be reused by someone else. For additional deletion requests, contact us.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect any change.
